Annual Report and Work Plan <br /> PURPOSE: Provide comments on Orange Unified Transportation Board (OUTBoard) Orientation <br /> Material. <br /> BACKGROUND: August 2022, County consolidated all transportation related roles and <br /> responsibilities into one department Orange County Transportation Services (OCTS). This <br /> requires the need to update the OUTBoard orientation material. While bulk of it remains the <br /> same, some of it will be improved upon through this consolidation. Highlights of possible changes <br /> include and not limited to: <br /> • Consolidating Material Packet (attachment 1) into a single document with graphics <br /> • Updating the Transportation Advisory Service (TAS) and OUTBoard coordination process <br /> • Publishing new material to the Orange County Transportation Services website (link) <br /> o Including County Advisory Board Policy and Annual Report and Work Plan <br /> (attachment 2 and 3) <br /> OCTS staff is requesting comments on the OUTBoard specific material so staff can update it. <br /> Next Step <br /> The updated orientation materials will be available online, on the OUTBoard section of the <br /> Transportation Services web page (link). Hard copies will be made available upon request. <br /> However, digital pdf located on the website will contain links to additional resources. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: No immediate financial impacts approving the study. Local approval of study <br /> allows County opportunity to pursue state and federal funding for transportation improvements <br /> along the corridor.
