Activities the OUTBoard expects to carry out in 2019 as they relate to <br /> established BOCC goals and priorities. <br /> 1. Assist with the identification of potential NCDOT small transportation projects that <br /> may fit well within the context of the 2018-2019 High Impact — Low Cost Project <br /> Program, the Resurfacing Program, and the Spot Safety Program. Related staff <br /> time is a part of staff's current work plan. <br /> 2. Continue to review and make recommended implementation efforts for the <br /> Bicycle Safety Task Force Report to the BOCC (BOCC Goal 3, Priority 20). <br /> Implementation efforts will utilize previously budgeted funds, and are a part of <br /> staff's current work plan. <br /> 3. Review and comment on amendments to the UDO and revised Efland-Buckhorn- <br /> Mebane Access Management Plan (BOCC Goal 3). Related staff time is a part of <br /> staff's current work plan. <br /> 4. Continue to work with staff and the BOCC to recommend and monitor Orange <br /> County Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) projects, including <br /> recommending new projects in 2018 (BOCC Goal 3, Priority 20). Related staff <br /> time is a part of staff's current work plan. <br /> 5. Continue quarterly Transit Advisory Services/OCPT meetings to discuss unmet <br /> needs in the service area, service design and scheduling, marketing, billing rates <br /> and fares, resolve complaints; and to monitor compliance with federal regulations <br /> and the status of any deficiencies noted in any official federal, state or local <br /> review or report (BOCC Goal 3, Priority 20). Related staff time is a part of staff's <br /> current work plan. <br /> 6. Review, comment and make recommendations on the B-G MPO CTP/ MTP <br /> (BOCC Goal 3, Priority 20). Related staff time is a part of staff's current work <br /> plan. <br /> 7. Participate in the development of transportation projects as part of the TARPO, <br /> DCHC MPO and B-G MPO STI local input processes for SPOT 6.0. (BOCC Goal <br /> 3, Priority 20). Related staff time is a part of staff's current work plan. <br /> 8. Continue to jointly address transit topics relating to Orange County Public Transit <br /> (OPCT), with supplemental staff from other County departments (Aging; DSS; <br /> Housing, Human Rights and Community Development; Health; and Child <br /> Support Enforcement), including new bus routes proposed to be initiated in 2017 <br /> (BOCC Goal 3, Priority 20). Related staff time is a part of staff's current work <br /> plan. <br /> 9. If referred by the BOCC: <br /> a. Implementation efforts related to the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Action <br /> Plan (BOCC Goal 3, Priority 20). Related staff time would be a part of <br /> staff's current work plan. <br />
