XIII. TRANSIT PROVIDERS <br /> OCTS provides multiple fixed route services in accordance with Chapter IV of FTA Circular 4702.113. <br /> Details of OCTS fixed route services are provided below. <br /> Service Standards <br /> Vehicle load <br /> All fixed route vehicles accommodate 17 people, including driver. <br /> Vehicle headway <br /> All fixed route services are between 30 and 45 minute headway, with plans to reduce to 15 and 30 <br /> minutes. <br /> On time performance <br /> OCTS monitors public transit driver's pick-up and delivery through Ecolane software. Drivers with 95% <br /> or higher on-time performance are recognized for great customer service. <br /> Service availability <br /> OCTS currently operations three fixed routes: <br /> • Hillsborough Circulator <br /> • Orange-Chapel Hill Connector <br /> • Orange-Alamance Connector <br /> B. Service Policies <br /> Transit Amenities for each mode <br /> All OCTS vehicles have ADA accommodations with wheel chair lifts. Some vehicles have bicycle racks. <br /> Vehicle Assignment for each mode <br /> Drivers are assigned vehicles as they are programed by the Transit Operations Manager and Dispatcher. <br /> Each driver is provided opportunity to choose their route on an annual bases, not the vehicle. <br />
