Nondiscrimination Notice To Prospective Bidders The OCTS, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related nondiscrimination authorities, and Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 21 and 26, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contact entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority and women business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, creed, limited English proficiency, low-income, or disability in consideration for an award. Implementation • The nondiscrimination language above will be included in all solicitations for bids for work or material and proposals for negotiated agreements to assure interested firms that we provide equal opportunity and do not discriminate. • Outreach efforts will be made to minority and women-owned firms that work in requested fields and documented. • Unless specifically required under Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or Affirmative Action programs, all contractors will be selected without regard to their race, color, national origin, or sex. • The nondiscrimination language above (with initials line) will be appended to any existing contracts, purchase orders, and agreements that do not include it, and initialed by the responsible official of the other organization. • The nondiscrimination language above (without initials line) will be incorporated as standard language before the signature page of our standard contracts, purchase orders, and agreements. • The Title VI Coordinator will review existing contracts to ensure the language has been added.
