<br /> • Periodically, but not more than once a year, employees and representatives will receive, review and
<br /> certify commitment to the Title VI Program.
<br /> • New employees shall be informed of Title VI provisions and expectations to perform their duties,
<br /> accordingly, asked to review the Title VI Program, and required to sign the acknowledgement form.
<br /> • Periodic review of operational practices and guidelines by the Title VI Coordinator to verify compliance
<br /> with the Title VI Program. Maintain documents of each review on file.
<br /> • Signed acknowledgement forms and records of internal assessments will remain on file for at least
<br /> three years.
<br /> VI. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
<br /> Orange County Transportation Service ensures all contractors will fulfill their contracts in a nondiscriminatory
<br /> manner. While contractors are not required to prepare a Title VI Program, they must comply with the
<br /> nondiscrimination requirements of the organization to which they are contracted. OCTS and its contractors will
<br /> not discriminate in the selection and retention of contractors (at any level) or discriminate in employment
<br /> practices in connection with any of our projects.
<br /> A. Contract Language
<br /> During the performance of this contract, the contractor, for itself, its assignees, and successors in
<br /> interest (hereinafter referred to as the "contractor") agrees as follows:
<br /> (1) Compliance with Regulations: The contractor (hereinafter Nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national
