Tyrus Clayton, Jr., PE <br /> Regional Growth Leader <br /> <br />DATE: July 21, 2023 <br /> <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Ferguson and Bradshaw Quarry W&R Site Consolidation <br />Supplemental Task Order Request <br />Public Engagement Support <br /> TRC Project No. 500002.0000.0000 Lump Sum Fee = $8,950 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />At your request, Draper Aden Associates (DAA) is pleased to offer this proposal support services related <br />to the public engagement activities required by the County to acquire the subject parcel and obtain <br />zoning approvals for the parcel owned by Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) on the <br />northeast corner of Orange Grove Road and NC Highway 54. This proposal outlines our understanding <br />of the project scope, tasks to be completed, assumptions underlying our fee proposal, and fees for the <br />project. <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will consolidate and replace the two existing waste and recycling <br />centers located on Bradshaw Quarry Road and the second on Ferguson Road. The proposed site is <br />located between two centers the County is planning to close located on Bradshaw Quarry Road in the <br />Cane Creek Reservoir watershed and on Ferguson Road in the University Lake watershed. As a <br />requirement by OWASA and Orange County, the Orange County Solid Waste Department must <br />institute a public engagement plan to obtain input from the surrounding property owners, the overall <br />community, and the project stakeholders. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Colored Graphical Rendering: DAA will provide one (1) Color Rendered Site Plan of the proposed site <br />improvements on a 24”x36” presentation board as shown within the Land Purchase Boundary, <br />approximately 7.68 Acres. This color rendering will illustrate the proposed site improvements edge of <br />pavement, ancillary structures, yard bins, stormwater management area, and aerial photograph <br />background image. A digital version of the rendering will be included for the OCSW’s use for posting <br />online. <br /> <br />In addition to the above rendering, a printed 24”x30” site aerial photograph and a 24”x36” site <br />boundary map will be produced to assist with presentations at the community meetings and the <br />Board meetings for OWASA and Orange County. <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: B37716C8-313A-4891-ACF3-C7FDEBE75E91
