Over 800 residents reside in <br /> nursing homes and adult care homes in Orange County. <br /> The Triangle J Area Agency on Aging Ombudsman Program is holding a Community <br /> Advisory Committee Education and Appreciation Day for the dedicated volunteers of <br /> Orange County (and other counties in our region)on June 5.2002. There will be events at <br /> the Friday Center in Chapel Hill, and the Agency would like to provide the affached <br /> proclamation of appreciation to each member of the Community Advisory Committees. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact with approval of the proclamation. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board designate June S, <br /> 2002 as Community Advisory Committee Appreciation Day in Orange County and authorize <br /> the Chair to sign the proclamation. <br />
