2 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> Resolution Honoring Mildred"Mama Dip" Council <br /> WHEREAS, Mildred 'Mama Dip"Council opened a restaurant In 1976 with limited <br /> experience and limited resources; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mama Dip's Country Kitchen is now a successful and profitable business <br /> institution and Chapel Hill institution;and <br /> WHEREAS, Mildred Council was duly nominated and duly chosen as North Carolina's <br /> Smell Business Person of the Year for 2002; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mildred Council"a selected as third runner up in national competition by <br /> the U.S. Small Business Association from among state Small Business Persons of the <br /> Year representing the 5D states, the Distnct of Columbia, Puerto Rico,and Guam; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners recognizes and honors the achievements of Mildred Council as an <br /> entrepreneur and small business person. <br /> This the 213'day of May, 2002. <br /> Barry Jacobs, Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />
