Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 16 The Board adopte4d a resolution to release motor vehicle property tax values for seven (7) <br /> 17 taxpayers with a total of seven (7) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> 18 c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 19 The Board adopted a resolution to release property tax values for four (4) taxpayers with a total <br /> 20 of twelve (12) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> 21 d. Approval of Memorandum of Agreement between the Orange County Board of <br /> 22 Commissioners and North Carolina State University <br /> 23 The Board approved and authorized the Manager to sign a Memorandum of Agreement between <br /> 24 Orange County and North Carolina State University (NCSU) that will define the individual <br /> 25 relationships and mutually agreed upon responsibilities of NCSU and Orange County Government <br /> 26 in the operation of the Orange County Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension. <br /> 27 e. North Carolina Local Government Commission Audit Contract with Mauldin &Jenkins, <br /> 28 LLC — First Renewal <br /> 29 The Board: <br /> 30 1) Approved the first of two one-year renewal options for Mauldin & Jenkin, LLC to perform <br /> 31 full audit services which includes financial, single audits and financial statement <br /> 32 preparation; and <br /> 33 2) Authorized the Chair and Finance Officer to sign the North Carolina Government <br /> 34 Commission audit contract on behalf of the BOCC pending staff and attorney review. <br /> 35 f. Application for North Carolina Education Lottery Proceeds for Chapel Hill Carrboro City <br /> 36 Schools (CHCCS) and Contingent Approval of Budget Amendment #8-113 Related to <br /> 37 CHCCS Capital Project Ordinances <br /> 38 The Board approved an application to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction <br /> 39 (NCDPI) to release proceeds from the NC Education Lottery account related to FY 2022-23 debt <br /> 40 service payments for Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS), and approving Budget <br /> 41 Amendment#8-B, contingent on the NCDPI's approval of the application. <br /> 42 g.
