27 <br /> 1 Planning Board Recommendation: The Planning Board reviewed the zoning atlas amendment at <br /> 2 its April 5, 2023 regular meeting. At this meeting the Board voted unanimously to recommend <br /> 3 approval with specific changes of the Statement of Consistency (Attachment 7) and the <br /> 4 proposed Zoning Atlas Amendment (Attachment 8). Two conditions are being recommended by <br /> 5 the Planning Board and the applicant offered four additional conditions after the Planning Board <br /> 6 meeting, based upon comments made at the meeting. All conditions are accepted by the <br /> 7 applicant and have been incorporated into the Ordinance in Attachment 8. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Excerpts of the minutes from the meeting, as well as the Board's signed statement of consistency, <br /> 10 are included in Attachment 6. Agenda materials from the meeting can be viewed at: <br /> 11 https://www.co.orange.nc.us/AgendaCenter/Planning-Board-26. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Planning Director's Recommendation: The Planning Director recommends approval of the: <br /> 14 1. Statement of Consistency indicating the zoning atlas amendment(s) are reasonable <br /> 15 and in the public interest as contained in Attachment 7. <br /> 16 2. Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas, as well as imposing development conditions, <br /> 17 for the identified parcels as contained in Attachment 8. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Cy Stober, Planning and Inspections Director, introduced the item and reviewed the <br /> 20 background information.
