Since foraging habitat is present within the review area, a survey of the <br /> PSA and the area within 660 feet of the project limits was conducted on November 28, <br /> 2022. No eagles or eagle nests were identified during this survey effort. A review of the <br /> Fall 2022 NCNHP dataset revealed no known occurrences of this species within 1.0 mile <br /> of the PSA. Due to the lack of eagle sightings,nests,known occurrences, and the minimal <br /> impact anticipated for this project, it has been determined that this project will not affect <br /> this species. <br /> 5.0 WATER RESOURCES <br /> Water resources within the PSA are located within the Neuse River Basin (United States <br /> Geological Survey [USGS] Hydrologic Unit Code [HUC] 03020201). Three streams were <br /> identified within the PSA(Table 3). The location of these streams is shown on Figure 3. <br /> Table 3. The North Carolina 2022 Final 303(d)list of impaired waters <br /> identifies no waters within the PSA or within 1.0 mile downstream of the PSA as impaired. <br /> No open waters or non-stream surface waters (e.g., tributaries) were identified within the <br /> PSA. <br /> 6.0 REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS <br /> 6.1 Clean Water Act Waters of the U.S. <br /> Three streams were identified within the PSA (Table 4). The location of these streams is <br /> shown on Figure 3. All streams within the PSA have been designated as warm water <br /> streams for the purposes of stream mitigation. <br /> Table 4.
