This study surveyed local <br /> recreational areas to derive a trip generation rate based on utilized acres. The proposed school plans are providing enough <br /> storage space to accommodate 4,414 feet via multiple circulation lanes around the site <br /> that merge prior to the loading and drop-off area. These lanes will also be utilized to <br /> contain the upper school high demand queue length of 2,751 feet. SimTraffic simulations <br /> of both proposed school operations show that the queueing can be contained on site. <br /> Capacity analyses were performed using Synchro Version 11 software. For the existing <br /> and background scenarios, existing PHFs were used at all intersections. For the build <br /> scenarios, a weighted PHF was used that calculated a new PHF by movement based on <br /> all school site traffic having a PHF of 0.50. Table ES-3 summarizes the operation of the <br /> study intersections for the AM and school PM peak hour traffic conditions. <br /> ES-2 <br />
