<br /> Performance Assessment: Performance Assessment: The foster and transfer programs continue to be a focus to
<br /> support live release of shelter animals.Several strategies to place animals for adoption has been employed such
<br /> as the working cat/barn cat program, adoption specials, and transfer of animal with shelter partners. OCAS is
<br /> already seeing a decrease in length of stay for shelter animals due to having a full time shelter Veterinarian as of
<br /> December 5.

<br /> Performance Assessment: Historically,this measure has been uncaptured;so much of FY 2023 was spent
<br /> determining baseline data.To purpose is to keep pets with families and out of shelters with services such as
<br /> Community Spay/Neuter performed via voucher assistance, rabies vaccinations, community cat sterilizations and
<br /> the Veterinary Care Assistance Program.The goal for FY 2024 is to serve more animals and pet owners in the
<br /> community by surpassing FY 2023 numbers.
