51 <br /> Meadowmont Farms Biological Inventory Report Orange County, N.C. <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> Lawrence Road Partners, LLC proposes the development of a K-12 school campus on <br /> Parcel PIN No. 9883194355 in Hillsborough, Orange County, North Carolina (Figures 1 <br /> and 2). The Project Study Area (PSA) is approximately 85.8 acres and is located east of <br /> Lawrence Road, west of Piney Grove Church Road, south of US-70A, and north of I-85. <br /> As part of the Orange County Planning Department's review process, an Environmental <br /> Assessment (EA) application, Biological Inventory Report (BIR), and mitigation plan <br /> (dependent upon jurisdictional waters impacts) were requested. The following BIR has <br /> been prepared to meet the County's request. <br /> 2.0 METHODOLOGY <br /> Three Oaks Engineering Inc. (Three Oaks) staff members Michael Wood (LSS, PWS, <br /> M.S.), Nathan Howell (M.S., PWS), and Tom Dickinson (M.S.) completed field work <br /> within the PSA on November 28 and December 8,2022. Water resources identified within <br /> the PSA have not yet been verified by the United States Army Corps of Engineers <br /> (USACE) or the North Carolina Division of Water Resources (NCDWR). It is expected <br /> that these resources will be covered by USACE under a Preliminary Jurisdictional <br /> Determination (PJD) Package. A list of the principal personnel contributing to the field <br /> work and document are provided in the Appendix. <br /> 3.0 TERRESTRIAL COMMUNITIES <br /> Three terrestrial communities were identified within the PSA. Figure 4 shows the location <br /> and extent of these terrestrial communities. Terrestrial community data are presented in <br /> the context of total coverage of each type within the PSA (Table 1). <br /> Table 1.
