Blythe, ext 2130 <br /> TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br /> Hillsborough 7324181 <br /> Chapel Hill 9661501 <br /> Durham 688-7331 <br /> Mebane 336-227-2031 <br /> PURPOSE: To consider adding two meetings to the regular meeting calendar and changing <br /> the beginning time for another meeting. <br /> BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Caroline General Statute I5 A- ,the Board of County <br /> Commissioners mist fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in <br /> the Regular Meeting Schedule. A meeting will he held on May 16, 2002 from 4:00 p.m.to 8:00 <br /> p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (Water Summit)and <br /> a meeting will be held on June 6, 2002 at 5:30 p.m. at the Government Sarvir as Center with the <br /> Orange County Planning Board prior to the budget public hearing at 7:30 p.m. The meeting <br /> scheduled for May 13, 2002 will begin at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Note: The May 23, 2002 meeting on the regular calendar will be for the presentation of the <br /> Managers recommended 2002-2003 budget followed by a Board of County Commissioners <br /> work session. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular <br /> meeting calendar by adding meetings for May 16 and June 6, 2002 and changing the beginning <br /> time forthe meeting scheduled for May 13,2002 to 6:00 p.m. <br />
