Proposed Sale of 0.45 Acre Property, PIN #0900832203, Hillsborough <br /> The Board approved the sale of a 0.45 acre County-owned property, PIN #0900832203, located <br /> in Hillsborough, and approved a resolution authorizing its sale through an upset bid process. <br /> i. Contract Renewal with NWN for Varonis File Server and Active Directory Protection <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Manager to sign a three year renewal contract with NWN <br /> to continue licensing and support for Varonis, a software system which provides protection and <br /> the ability to audit County file systems and authentication mechanisms. <br /> j. Approval of In-County Travel Allowance for Orange County Schools Board of Education <br /> Members <br /> The Board adopted a resolution approving a monthly in-county travel allowance for members of <br /> the Orange County Schools (OCS) Board of Education. <br /> k. Resolution Supporting Legislation to Reclassify Telecommunicators <br /> The Board adopted a resolution supporting the National Reclassification of 9-1-1 <br /> Telecommunicators from"Office and Administrative Support"to"Protective Service Occupations." <br /> I. Approval of Financing Arrangements for Efland Volunteer Fire Department for <br /> Renovation of Fire Station #1 <br /> The Board approved the Efland Volunteer Fire Department (EVFD) entering into a financing <br /> arrangement to renovate Efland Fire Station #1, and authorized the Board of Commissioners' <br /> Chair to sign the appropriate documents related to the financing arrangements. <br /> 9. County Manager's Report <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said the CIP will be presented on April 11th. She said they have the <br /> agenda in front of them for April 11 th. She said the binder is also available and asked them to <br /> bring that with them to the meeting. She said there is no requirement to do the presentation during <br /> a business meeting. <br /> 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> John Roberts said today was the filing deadline for the Senate. He said after the filing <br /> deadline, they're usually aren't public bills to come through but there are ways around that if they <br /> want. The said there is still two more weeks for the House deadline and the crossover deadline <br /> is May 4th. He said that Senator Graig Meyer filed the appeal for the dangerous dog designation, <br /> and he will have a full report at a future date. <br /> 11. *Appointments <br /> None. <br /> 12.
