The department has received an additional allocation of $12,598 for Adult Protective <br /> Services Essential Services funds from the Division of Aging and Adult Services to <br /> assist adults to age in place, eliminate unnecessary institutionalization, and promote <br /> opportunities to return to a community-based setting when possible. <br /> 6. The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Juvenile Justice and <br /> Delinquency Prevention, will occasionally award one-time discretionary funding to <br /> assist Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) funded programs with additional <br /> needs. This year, the Reintegration Support Network (RSN) has been award $7,400 in <br /> discretionary funds.
