EHA provides <br /> financial assistance for eviction and homelessness prevention through emergency rent, <br /> mortgage, and utility payments, as well as security deposits, application fees, and other costs to <br /> help households experiencing homelessness move in to housing. <br /> • Rapid Rehousing Program: Orange County uses HOME funds as well as ESG and ESG-CV funds <br /> from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to operate a Rapid <br /> Rehousing program that provides short-to mid-term rental assistance, depending on the <br /> tenant's needs,to people experiencing homelessness, through the local Continuum of Care <br /> Annual Action Plan 15 <br /> FY 2023-2024 <br />
