la <br />From: Gwen Harvey <br />To: Glover, Nancy <br />Date: Monday, February 09, 2004 9:48:39 AM <br />Subject: Cable Advisory Committee - New Appointments <br />Nancy <br />There are currently 4 vacancies on the Cable TV Advisory Committee, Rodney <br />Recor has resigned and Tyler Miller-Johnson has long been inactive. <br />We have 2 applications on file and these have been reviewed and endorsed by <br />the CAC at their meeting on February 5. Those applicants are Fred Brown and <br />James Walker. <br />At their meeting on February 5, they reviewed applications for appointment <br />from Fredrick S. Brown and James F. Walker and recommended that they both be <br />nominated for confirmation by the BOCC at an upcoming meeting. Both Mr. Brown <br />and Mr. Walker have extensive information technology backgrounds from their <br />professional work experience and would bring relevant insights to the tasks <br />confronting the Committee. I have contacted both gentlemen by telephone and <br />they both expressed their willingness and availability to serve should the <br />BOCC so desire. <br />Thx.
