BACKGROUND: There are currently four vacancies on the Cable TV Advisory Committee. Rodney Recor has resigned and Tyler Miller-.lohnson has long been inactive.. There are applications on file and these have been reviewed and endorsed by the Cable TV Advisory Committee at their meeting on February 5, 2004.. Two applicants are Fred Brown and James Walker. At their meeting on February 5, they reviewed applications for appointment from Fredrick S. Brown and James F. Walker and recommended that they both be nominated for confirmation by the BOGC at an upcoming meeting, Both Mr. Brown and Mr. Walker have extensive information technology backgrounds from their professional work experience and would bring relevant insights to the tasks confronting the Committee.
