Orange County <br />367-OC5310 - Recycling Processor <br />5 <br />Waste Management will sort and process the materials to a quality that meets or exceeds secondary <br />market conditions to maximize diversion and will utilize industry best management practices to maximize <br />recyclable material processing throughput and quality. <br />All residuals will be delivered to Waste Management’s landfill. Waste Management, and not the County, <br />will be responsible for associated disposal fees. <br />In the unlikely event that we are unable to receive, process, and market recyclable materials delivered by <br />the County to our facility, Waste Management will, at its sole cost and expense, divert all recyclable <br />materials to an alternate location for recycling services. <br />Waste Management will submit a detailed invoice to the County on a monthly basis for rec ycling services <br />performed, which will break down all recyclable material delivered by the County by commodity type and <br />volume. We also agree to perform no less than two Waste Characterization Studies annually, one for <br />residential recycling materials and one for commercial recycling materials. <br />We will be happy to provide our financial and operational records related to work performed under this <br />agreement for periodic audits. <br /> <br />Orange County supports a living wage of $ 14.95 per hour.
