3. The proposal appears consistent with the Orange County— Chapel Hill — Carrboro Joint Planning <br /> Land Use Plan. Specifically, the Land Use Plan amendment will apply the "Rural Buffer" land use <br /> classification to a portion of a parcel that was annexed into Orange County, from Chatham County, <br /> in 2021. The Rural Buffer classification is consistent with adjoining and nearby lands in Orange <br /> County. <br /> 5 <br />
