She asked if the weighted voting can be invoked for any <br /> 8 project. <br /> 9 Nishith Trivedi said it is any. He said it is the MPO and RPO Boards that determine what <br /> 10 projects get submitted. <br /> 11 Chair Bedford said she pushed for geographical equity. <br /> 12 Nishith Trivedi said MPOs are allowed to create their own process, they just can't score <br /> 13 their own projects. <br /> 14 Chair Bedford said the towns have a vote on the MPO. <br /> 15 Commissioner Fowler thanked Nishith Trivedi for the presentation and for explaining the <br /> 16 process. <br /> 17 Chair Bedford said the circle diagram is very helpful. Orange County Facilities Master Plan Update <br /> 23 The Board received an update regarding the development of a Facilities Master Plan for Orange <br /> 24 County, and provided feedback regarding several key planning recommendations. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 BACKGROUND: At the Board of Commissioners' May 3, 2022 Business meeting, the Board <br /> 27 approved a contract with O'Brien Atkins Associates for the development of an Orange County <br /> 28 Facilities Master Plan with a 20 year planning horizon.
