Outside Agencies/Human Services

Attachments

4. Please describe one to three key partnerships/collaborations that add the most value to the success of
the proposed programs.

We partner closely with the Southern Vision Alliance (SVA) and Activate! IFC’s Legends in
the Making to run the Chapel Hill Freedom School. Staff from the three organizations are
meeting weekly for 6 months to co-design the program. Jackson Center staff lead program
coordination, curriculum-building, and facilitation, while our organizational partners lead
recruitment and share resources and topic specialists. SVA offers and administers stipends
to enable students to participate. These key partnerships allow all three organizations to
share staff capacity and deliver a high-impact, in-demand summer program.

5.
