She said she told them they <br /> can't wait to spend the money. She said the schools want to talk about this at the upcoming joint <br /> meeting, but the Board has already done their part by allocating the money to the schools. <br /> Commissioner Hamilton said she hopes the capital needs consultant will help get <br /> everyone on the same page and identify efficiencies. <br /> Chair Bedford said a lot of institutional knowledge at the schools is gone, so it's good they <br /> are all having these conversations. <br /> Vice-Chair McKee said the Board received an email today from the schools and there was <br /> mention about wanting to discuss buying land for future schools. <br /> Commissioner Richards asked why more land is needed when school populations are <br /> decreasing. <br /> Chair Bedford said it is increasing in the Mebane area. <br /> The Board took a 15 minute break. <br /> Vice-Chair McKee left the meeting at 2:30 pm. <br /> Office of Equity and Inclusion Work Plan <br /> a.
