BOCC Boards and Commissions Assignments <br /> The Board selected the boards and commissions on which Board members would like to serve <br /> during the remainder of 2023. <br /> BACKGROUND: BOCC members serve on various County and County-related boards and <br /> commissions. On an annual basis, BOCC members indicate their desire to continue serving on <br /> specific boards or commissions or their desire to make changes. <br /> Tara May, Deputy Clerk to the Board, introduced the item. She reviewed the background <br /> materials from the agenda. She read an email from Steve Brantley sent to the Board earlier in <br /> the day regarding the Research Triangle Regional Partnership - Executive Board. She said the <br /> Small Business Loan program had been dissolved and removed from the list of boards and <br /> commissions. <br /> Commissioner Fowler asked for clarification on the ABC Board term. <br /> Tara May said the appointment was for a two year term. <br /> Commissioner Hamilton clarified that there are two commissioner positions on the Capital <br /> Needs Task Force, one of which is vacant. <br /> Chair Bedford discussed the Burlington Graham MPO meeting structure.
