238 Recommended Improvements: Charter School Improvements The following improvements are recommended for the projected (2025) build-out traffic condition based on the capacity analysis presented herein. These improvements are required solely to accommodate traffic generated by the charter schools: US 70 Alt. at Lawrence Road • Install a traffic signal • Construct an exclusive northbound left-turn lane with a minimum of 200 feet of storage plus taper • Construct an exclusive southbound right-turn lane with a minimum of 100 feet of storage plus taper • Construct an exclusive southbound left-turn lane with a minimum of 50 feet of storage plus taper US 70 at Lawrence Road: • Construct an exclusive northbound left-turn lane with a minimum of 100 feet of storage plus taper • Construct an exclusive southbound left-turn lane with a minimum of 200 feet of storage plus taper • Adjust signal phasing and timing Lawrence Road at Site Driveway 1: • Construct the full movement Site Driveway 1 with one ingress and two egress lanes • Construct an exclusive southbound left-turn lane with a minimum of 150 feet of storage plus taper US 70 Alt. at Site Driveway 2: • Construct the full movement Site Driveway 2 with one ingress and two egress lanes • Construct an exclusive eastbound right-turn lane with a minimum of 75 feet of storage plus taper • Construct an exclusive westbound left-turn lane with a minimum of 150 feet of storage plus taper Recreational Improvements To accommodate the recreational traffic, which is mainly concentrated in the evenings after the school traffic has largely dissipated, the internal street system is proposed with the same laneage.
