Welcome / Call to Order / Introductions <br />Commissioner Anna Richards: Called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone. Since she was on <br />the meeting via her phone. She asked everyone to introduce themselves using the popcorn method. <br />Dave Stancil: Director of the Orange County Department of Environment, Agriculture and Parks & <br />Recreation <br />Charles Harrington – Interim Director Carrboro Recreation and parks <br />Kalani Allen: Admin Support for the Department of Environment, Agriculture and Parks & Recreation <br />Robb English: Hillsborough Board of Commissioners <br />Atuya Cornwell: Town of Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation <br />Chris Colvin: Orange County Parks and Recreation Council <br />Phil Fleischmann - The Parks and Recreation Director for the town of Chapel Hill <br />Tyler Steelman: Chapel Hill Chair of the Parks, Greenway and Recreation Commission <br />Susan Romaine: Carrboro Town Council <br />Wendell Rogers: Facilities Administrator for the town of Carrboro <br />Myra Austin: Orange County Department on Aging <br />Veronica Orange County Commission for the Environment <br />Aaron Davis: Recreation and Parks Director, with the city of Mebane <br />Marabeth Carr: Landscape Architect with the Orange County Department of Environment, Agriculture <br />Stephanie Trueblood: Public Space and Sustainability Manager for the town of Hillsborough <br />Beth Young: Communications Manager for the Orange County Department of Environment, Agriculture <br />and Parks & Recreation <br />2. Review of Meeting Notes <br />Marabeth Carr asked if anyone had any revisions or comments they would like included to let <br />her know and she would incorporate them. (None were submitted) <br />3. Orange County Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trails Plan – <br />Scope of Work/Collaboration Ideas <br />Dave Stancil presented a PowerPoint presentation on the Orange County Trails <br />Plan/Bicycle/Pedestrian/Trails Plan <br />• Orange County has been looking at trying to coordinate a lot of different trail planning efforts that <br />exist. <br />• There's not a comprehensive coordinated countywide or even county jurisdictional wide Trails plan <br />• We are looking at the possibility of doing contracting to do that sort of work in the next fiscal year <br />• Some of the plans that are already in place <br />a) Mebane and Carrboro-Trails Plan <br />b) Hillsborough - Connectivity Plan <br />c) Chapel Hill - Mobility and Connectivity Plan <br />d) Orange County - Mountain to Sea Trail Plan <br />• Good Example – 2020 Harnett County Bicycle, Pedestrian, & Greenway Master Plan <br />
