DocuSign Envelope ID:77803446-26E8-4424-B3DD-15F947931AE8 <br />Server.That information can then be used in MARVLIS Client, Deployment Monitor, or a connected <br />Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. <br />MARVLIS system depends on correct configuration of connected applications and proper data transfer <br />between the various applications. <br />A wireless communications network must be available for the clients' geographic area. MARVLIS <br />can work with a variety of wireless protocols. <br />Communications hardware for the wireless network, GPS devices, etc. must be available and <br />installed in appropriate vehicles. <br />MARVLIS Server, Demand Monitor, and Deployment Monitor machines must have network <br />connectivity and must be installed on the same network subnet. <br />The MARVLIS System requires a full instance of Microsoft SQL Server(BCS does not resell SQL <br />Server). <br />All GIS shapefiles must be in a consistent coordinate system. The coordinate system used should <br />be consistent with the AVL positions provided to MARVLIS Server via GPS. This will typically be <br />WGS84 unless otherwise specified. <br />There may be additional dependencies subject to the individual project requirements. <br />3.1. MARVLIS Server <br />The hub of the system, MARVLIS Server, provides communications between your dispatch center and the <br />vehicles in the field. MARVLIS Server requires a network connection to the CAD system as well as a <br />connection to the vehicles in the field. If Deployment Monitor is to be used, a network connection will be <br />required to those systems as well. <br />CAD Interface Requirements <br />MARVLIS Server requires the following interfaces <br />1) Real time notification of incident Open and Close <br />2) Real time notification of vehicle status changes <br />3) Real time notification of vehicle dispatch with Incident location and ID <br />4) Interface to communicate vehicle location and status changes to the CAD <br />If desired by the CAD company and the customer, MARVLIS Server can be licensed to return the <br />following utilizing time-of-day data from Impedance Monitor if available <br />1) Nearest vehicle recommendations <br />2) Routing and text directions <br />Data Requirements <br />The following data types must be available to use MARVLIS Server <br />1) Routable Street data as defined in this document.
