Who will directly or indirectly <br />benefit from your project? <br />Please be as specific as possible <br />on the characteristics of those <br />who will benefit including, <br />gender, race, age, income level <br />and geogra phic location. <br />Also, what are the <br />demographics of the area <br />where your project takes <br />place? <br />Does your project help to <br />address any racial disparities in <br />the location it is proposed for? <br />Please list any data sources <br />used and show the steps of any <br />calculations: <br />Applicants to the Orange County Home Preservation Coalition <br />for repair and energy efficiency services are candidates to <br />directly benefit from this proposal. This pool of applicants is <br />continually increasing. Upon grant award, this project will select <br />households that can benefit from supplemental weatherization. <br />This project has requested funds to serve at least 30 <br />households. Based on our experience, we estimate an average <br />household size of 2,5 persons, which means we expect to <br />directly serve 75 Orange County residents, We believe that <br />each selected household will directly benefit from reduced <br />utility bills, improved home comfort, and reduced greenhouse <br />gas emissions. <br />We believe that each selected household will directly benefit <br />from reduced utility bills and better housing quality.
