The selected contractor will apply for the necessary <br />permits. <br /> <br />C. SCHEDULE <br />The initial scope will be to prepare the design development through construction plans. I will <br />work to complete this in a timely manner to meet the goal of the Committee for implementation. <br /> <br />D. WORK NOT INCLUDED <br />Work not included in my scope of services includes: assistance with the approval process for <br />Orange County and the Town of Chapel Hill (including a Zoning Compliance Permit), surveys, <br />and coordination with utility work, including electrical distribution that might need to be brought <br />to the site for the kiosk. It is not anticipated that a full set of specifications including General <br />Conditions, etc., will be required; if it is required, this will be considered an extra service. Also <br />not included is the design of the graphic boards and informational signage. <br /> <br />E. FEE <br /> <br />1. Meetings and coordination with Committee and 7.5 hours $1,000.00 <br /> Orange County facilitator <br />2. Preparation of plans and cost estimate 25 hours $2,500.00 <br />3. Review of plans and cost estimate with structural 5 hours $ 500.00 <br /> engineer (services provided by Gus Neville, PE) <br />4. Assistance with contractor selection 5 hours $ 500.00 <br />5. Construction administration 15 hours $1,500.00 <br /> $6,000.00 <br /> <br />Reimbursable expenses including travel and reproduction and printing expenses will be billed at <br />cost.
