<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR <br />NCHFA 2021 AND 2022 URGENT REPAIR PROJECT AND <br />2020 ESSENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY REHAB – COMPLETED IN <br />FISCAL YEAR 2023 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023) <br />ORANGE COUNTY/TRIANGLE J COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br /> <br /> <br />1. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The Consultant agrees to provide on behalf of the County the services <br />necessary to implement and complete the 2021 NCHFA Urgent Repair Program and begin the <br />implementation of the 2022 NCHFA Urgent Repair Program, and implement the 2020 Essential Family <br />Single Rehab program. Implementation and rehabilitation activities will be administered following the <br />guidelines described in the Administrator and Inspectors Manual prepared by NCHFA, the Orange <br />County Assistance Policy and Procurement and Disbursement Policy adopted for the NCHFA 2021 and <br />2022 Urgent Repair Program projects, and the Orange County Assistance Policy and Procurement and <br />Disbursement Policy adopted for the NCHFA 2020 Essential Single-Family Rehab Program project, and <br />any other pertinent requirements received from NCHFA. <br />2. COMPENSATION OF SERVICES: In the provision of the aforementioned services, the Consultant <br />shall receive compensation for the Urgent Repair Program on a unit-by-unit basis which is outlined in <br />the Urgent Repair Program Manual and is described below. The Consultant will be provided additional <br />funding from Orange County local funding sources, including: <br /> A one-time additional fee of $1,000 in funding to cover the cost of advertising and <br />marketing for the 2022 Urgent Repair Project. <br /> Up to an additional $1,250 per unit for 2021 Urgent Repair Projects completed in fiscal year 2023, <br />to cover the cost of income and homeownership verification. <br /> Up to an additional $1,250 per unit for 2022 Urgent Repair Projects completed in fiscal year 2023 to <br />cover the cost of income and homeowner verification.
