This will help with the joint use process with Duke and we
will know the exact details of attachments heights once this is done. Provide the exact existing attachments
height (feet and inches) and will try and identify the utility owner of each attachment.
- Each pole will be measured from lowest critical point of power per Duke specs.
- Each communication line will be measured, and all heights and clearances will be documented along with
mid span sag.
- Each time the cable crosses a road or a driveway it will be measured in the mid span to assure at the new
cable can meet Duke and NC DOT height requirements for attachments.
- Once this is all measured in detail NetPlanner can give Orange County a number of poles we see will
require make ready by Duke. Duke will be the final decision maker; they own the poles and the system. We
cannot provide the cost that Duke will require per pole. That price will only come from Duke once they also
review the pole data that we provide. Duke most likely will take this data and go behind and measure their
poles and provide the client with detailed engineered drawings of the new attachment height and all poles
make ready required with a quote from Duke per pole. This will allow Orange CO to review cost and decide
how to proceed. Duke will require payment from Orange CO before they will even schedule any make ready
work to be performed.
- Once the data is captured in the field the office will prepare the documentation and will deliver this is a
digital format to Orange County to turn into Duke.

Total $ 10,500.00

DocuSign Envelope ID: D84862E2-2392-4DF6-A303-B7799FD027EB
