The application process for the resident position is managed by Alliance <br /> Health staff, and the Board of Directors reviews the applications and makes recommendations to <br /> the Board of County Commissioners. <br /> On March 2, 2023, the Alliance Health Board of Directors voted unanimously to recommend the <br /> following appointment: <br /> NAME POSITION TYPE OF EXPIRATION <br /> DESCRIPTION APPOINTMENT DATE <br /> TERM <br /> Dr. Michael Orange County First Full Term 03/31/2025 <br /> Joseph Representative <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is applicable to <br /> this item: <br /> • GOAL: ENABLE FULL CIVIC PARTICIPATION <br /> Ensure that Orange County residents are able to engage government through voting and <br /> volunteering by eliminating disparities in participation and barriers to participation. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There is no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal <br /> impact associated with this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the recommended <br /> appointment to the Alliance Health Board of Directors. <br />
