Commission for the Environment—Appointments Discussion <br /> 9 The Board made appointments to the Commission for the Environment. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 BACKGROUND: The Commission for the Environment advises the Board of Commissioners on <br /> 12 matters affecting the environment with particular emphasis on protection. It educates public and <br /> 13 local officials on environmental issues and performs special studies and projects.
