<br /> <br />Hazard Mitigation Page 3 FEMA-DR-4393-0042 Orange County <br />Grant Agreement <br />agreement, RECIPIENT/ SUBGRANTEE shall complete the Designated Agent <br />Form and forward it to the appropriate Division of Emergency Management <br />Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Project Manager or Hazard Mitigation <br />Specialist. As per Paragraph 12(c) of this Agreement, if RECIPIENT/ <br />SUBGRANTEE designates different representatives or designated agents, <br />RECIPIENT/ SUBGRANTEE shall notify AGENCY/GRANTEE. <br /> <br />To receive funds under this agreement, the Designated Agent shall sign the Cost <br />Report or Request for Advance Form. These forms are hereby incorporated into <br />this Agreement by reference. Following full execution of this Agreement, the <br />Fiscal Section of the Department of Public Safety will forward the Cost Report to <br />the RECIPIENT/ SUBGRANTEE. RECIPIENT/ SUBGRANTEE shall complete <br />the Cost Report and attach appropriate invoices or other appropriate <br />documentation and forward it to the appropriate Division of Emergency <br />Management Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Project Manager or Hazard <br />Mitigation Specialist. AGENCY/ GRANTEE will reimburse RECIPIENT/ <br />SUBGRANTEE for eligible costs in increments of Five Hundred Dollars <br />($500.00) or greater. <br /> <br />The final payment of funds will be made only after project completion, submission <br />of all required documentation, final inspection, and a request for final <br />reimbursement. <br /> <br />RECIPIENT/SUBGRANTEE agrees, as a condition of receipt of funding pursuant <br />to this Agreement, to obtain reasonably available, adequate, and necessar y <br />insurance for the type or types of hazard for which the major disaster was declared, <br />in accordance with the requirements of 44 C.F.R. 206 subpart I and 2 C.F.R. Part <br />200. <br /> <br />(3) DUPLICATION OF BENEFITS PROHIBITION <br /> <br />In accordance with the provisions of 42 U.S.C. §5155 (Section 312 of the Stafford <br />Act) duplication of benefits is prohibited. The RECIPIENT/ SUBGRANTEE shall <br />notify the AGENCY/GRANTEE, as soon as practicable, of the existence of any <br />insurance coverage for the costs identified in the application, and of any <br />entitlement to or recovery of funds from any other source for the project costs, <br />including Small Business Administration funding, Minimum Home Repair funds, <br />and other Federal, State and private funding. Allowable costs shall be reduced by <br />the amount of duplicate sources available.
