My term is up in May of 2023, <br /> and 1 II be term limited after serving for 6 years, but I did want to express an interest in the <br /> Orange County Planning board. <br /> Past Service on Orange County Advisory Boards: <br /> None <br /> Boards/Commissions applied for: <br /> Orange County Planning Board (REQUIRES DISCLOSURE STATEMENT) <br /> Background, education and experience relevant to this board: <br /> I have served on the Hillsborough planning board as a member for 3 years, a Vice chair for 1 <br /> year, and the chair for 2 years. In that time I have learned a lot about how the Town of <br /> Hillsborough handles planning and interacting with the public, and I would like to continue to <br /> learn and grow. I am term limited with my current position and would like to continue to <br /> contribute to my home area. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I have experience in planning board and would like to continue to grow and learn and see how <br /> the county handles the growth our communities are seeing. <br /> Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board: <br /> In my time as a member of the Hillsborough planning board I have found that everyone cares <br /> about their communitity and wants it to succeed. There are generally two groups, one that would <br /> like to maintain the charm that brought them there in the first place, and the other group that <br /> wants to bring in new and exciting opportunities.
