DEAPR staff <br /> will lead this effort with support from Planning Department staff and engage with planning and <br /> town staff throughout the process. <br /> Greene Tract Website <br /> The Greene Tract webpage has been redesigned to include a StoryMap providing additional <br /> information in a more user-friendly manner. The StoryMap includes interactive maps <br /> incorporating data from the 2020 Greene Tract Environmental Assessment. <br /> — Greene Tract website: https://www.orangecountVnc.gov/3070/Greene-Tract <br /> — StoryMap: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/4ec6342dfOf64426912a72a786f26c63 <br /> Master Plan <br /> Framework <br /> The 2021 Resolution Approving the Draft Recombination Plat and Conceptual Plan for <br /> the 60-acre Portion of the Greene Tract in County Ownership and the 107-acre Portion <br /> of the Greene Tract in Joint Ownership, adopted by the BOCC on November 16, 2021, <br /> identified four main elements or next steps. This included the continuation of soliciting <br /> input from the public, governing boards, specialized staff, and housing partners, during a <br /> master planning and development agreement process. As part of this element, staff <br /> initiated efforts to draft a Master Plan for the Greene Tract to feature action items, a <br /> project framework, and a detailed timeline. . <br /> The Master Plan shall build upon the goals and conceptual plan contained in the adopted <br /> 2021 Greene Tract Resolution, completed site analysis work, and existing plans <br /> completed on the Greene Tract and immediate area, including the Historic Rogers Road <br /> Neighborhood. The plan will include goals and objectives, which correspond with <br /> development recommendations related to land uses and open space. These elements <br /> will be used to guide future development and set forth guidelines applicable to the Greene <br /> Tract. In addition, the plan shall focus on affordable housing needs, support the Historic <br /> Rogers Road Neighborhood, and address access and connectivity on and off the site. <br /> Drafting of the plan would include significant community engagement and input. <br /> Request for Proposals <br /> Due to concerns with staff's proposed timeline and organizational capacity, the <br /> Managers, Mayors, and Chairs (MMC) group met on January 10 to discuss hiring a <br />
