The Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness Program has received notification <br /> of a $40,704 Emergency Solutions Grant award from the North Carolina Department of <br /> Health and Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services. This is a reimbursable <br /> grant with the service period of January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. These funds <br /> will be used to address the needs of the vulnerable homeless population in Orange County. <br /> The funding will be used for the provision of tenant-based rental assistance and related <br /> security/utility deposits to eligible households. These funds will also cover a portion of <br /> existing staff time to support housing search and placement and housing stability case <br /> management. This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these funds within the <br /> Community Development Fund. <br />
