2022-27 Master Aging Plan <br /> 16. MAP Workgroups—Third Quarter meetings are happening <br /> a. Janice asked if everyone is assigned to a MAP workgroup and attending meetings <br /> b. Did we fill social participation? Saru will be on the Inclusion and Social Participation workgroup, <br /> meeting this Thursday at 3pm. Cyd & Dawn will contact Saru. <br /> c. Ann has not been assign, Janice will assign her. <br /> d. Kendall Kopchick will be leading the Housing workgroup, as Cherie Rosemond is retiring on Feb. <br /> 1. <br /> e. Jerri is on Community Health along with Heather. <br /> f. Jeff is on Transportation — Brandi has not scheduled the next meetings yet. When scheduled, <br /> she will contact Transportation workgroup members. <br /> g. Vibeke is on the Communication Workgroup <br /> 17. MAP Tracking and Evaluation <br /> a. Leiha and Janice are working on the details of the matrix. Leiha will focus on how to get <br /> baseline data in MAP to know not just antidotal but support with hard data. Janice is meeting <br /> with her tomorrow, thinking about how we will do evaluation and putting processes in place for <br /> the next 5 years. Setting up for success. <br /> Committee Progress Reports if needed: <br /> 18. Senior Tar Heel Legislature (STHL)— Dick White <br /> a. Reappointed for a year. Vibeke is our alternate, but she hasn't heard anything from the STHL <br /> https://ncseniortarheellegislature.org/ yet. Vibeke and Janice will check in with Mary Warren <br /> next week. <br /> 19. Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee <br /> a. No report <br /> 20. Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee —Vibeke Talley <br /> a. The NHCAC is continuing to make visits. Autumn Cox, Ombudsman, reports they still don't have <br /> the training completed and are waiting to get people trained and onboard to make site visits <br /> 21. Friends of the Passmore Center—James Harris <br /> a. Announced the Yard Sale/Plant Sale on Sat, May 13, 9am — 1pm <br /> b. Las Vegas Night will not happen due to rise in Covid-19 cases <br /> c. Suggestion Zoom BINGO <br /> 22. Friends of the Seymour Center <br /> a. No report <br /> Adjournment <br /> Next meeting: February 14, 2023 from 1—3 pm; Seymour Center &Virtual <br /> Wear red and bring chocolate <br />
