(“MBP”) is pleased to submit this proposal to provide commissioning (Cx) services <br />(“Proposal”) to Orange County (the “County” or “Client”) for the Southern Human Services Center Roof <br />and HVAC Renovations project located at 2501 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516 (the “Project”). <br />SCOPE OF PROJECT <br />It is our understanding that the Project involves the replacement of mechanical systems and roof for the <br />27,000 sq. ft. Human Services Center. The building will remain partially occupied during construction, <br />which will necessitate phasing for the replacement of the main air handling units and terminal <br />equipment. <br /> <br />PROJECT SCHEDULE <br />Our Proposal is based on the following anticipated Project schedule: <br /> <br />Notice to Proceed January 2023 <br />Substantial Completion Phase 1 – May 2023 <br /> Phase 2 – July 2023 <br />Warranty Period May/July 2024 <br /> <br />MBP’s (or its subconsultant’s) employees shall not be required to work more than 40 hours per week, or <br />work other than normal business hours (i.e. 8am-5pm, Mondays through Fridays), or holidays (which are <br />observed as holidays by the Client) unless the Parties have mutually agreed otherwise in writing. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />MBP’s Cx services will be provided in accordance with the applicable sections of ASHRAE Standard 202- <br />2018, Guidelines 0-2019 and 1.1-2007 and the Building Commissioning Association (BCA) Handbook. Cx <br />documentation will be logged and can be accessed using the Cx web-based program called CxAlloy. <br /> <br />SYSTEMS TO BE COMMISSIONED (Including Sampling Rates) <br />1.
