How much time will your <br />project require to demonstrate <br />the positive impacts you <br />describe? <br /> <br />Installing PV Solar system will have immediate and significant <br />impact on The ArtsCenter’s ability to reduce its carbon footprint <br />as well as offset their utility cost. This project will enable The <br />ArtsCenter to become impervious to unknowable utility rate <br />escalation. Not only will the savings pay for the project within <br />10 years, but they will also be a source of income beyond that. <br />NC Solar Now solar panels come with a 25-year warranty <br />however, it should be noted that solar panels typically have the <br />life span of 35-40 years. Therefore, this project will have both <br />an immediate positive impact as well as an impact that will last <br />for decades. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Submission Guidance <br /> <br />Applications are to be submitted as email attachments to Orange County Sustainability Programs <br />Manager, Amy Eckberg at aeckberg@orangecountync.gov.
