Now <br /> I'm managing a relief/resiliency grant fund for small businesses. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> While living in Pittsboro I was super involved a community lunch feeding program as a volunteer <br /> and have been looking for ways to use my professional skills and personal passions here closer <br /> to home. We moved here in 2020 and it was so hard to get involved during COVID but now I'm <br /> starting to branch out and meet people and get involved. I put up a free little art gallery in west <br /> Hillsborough where we live and are building a home and I'd like to continue to connect with the <br /> larger community. <br /> Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board: <br /> Doing this work every day nationally and internationally I have insight into what other <br /> organizations, municipalities, and geographies/markets are doing. <br /> In addition to all of the professional work, I've already described, I have an educational <br /> background in marketing communications and customer acquisition.
