I volunteer with <br /> Table in Carrboro, NC. I <br /> was quickly drawn to the communities of Hillsborough, Chapel Hill and Carrboro and I moved to Carrboro <br /> in 2006. Since then, I've remained in Orange County. In 2012, while working as the Program Director and <br /> Finance Manager of Communities in Schools of Orange County, I wrote and received a 1.3 million dollar <br /> Federal grant to fund drop-out prevention programs at 7 Orange County middle schools, 2 elementary <br /> schools, and 1 high school. Additionally, since 2009, 1 have been involved in property management, <br /> development, and investment. I also have a strong knowledge of local real estate markets, market trends, <br /> property valuations, the County's GIS site, the LIDO, and other resources, based on my experience <br /> buying, selling, and developing property. Lastly, I have served on the Board of Equalization and Review <br /> for three years, hearing all tax appeals in Orange County. <br /> Mr. Hunter Beattie <br />
