<br /> <br />3 <br /> Develop contracts for letting including standard provisions, special provisions, <br />typical sections, and vicinity map. <br /> Advertise contract and conduct pre-bid meetings with potential contractors. <br /> Review submitted bid packages and provide award recommendations to Orange <br />County. <br /> <br />Phase 2: Contract Development - Tasks <br /> Task 1 – Site visit to verify PCS data, treatment recommendation, and obtain contract <br />quantities. <br /> Task 2 – Develop contract providing contract quantities, standard and special provisions, <br />vicinity maps, and typical sections. <br /> Task 3 – Prepare bid package, advertise contract, conduct pre-bid conference, and <br />recommend contract award. <br /> <br />Phase 3: Contract Administration and Inspection - Scope <br />Once contracts have been awarded Summit will provide contract administration and inspection <br />services. <br /> <br /> Provide Contract Inspection <br />o Ensure contractor is performing operations in accordance with contract <br />provisions. <br />o Ensure contractor is complying with all safety regulations. <br />o Verify material quantities. <br />o Conduct material inspections as required, verifying base course density and <br />surface course density. <br /> Provide Contract Administration <br />o Provide management services through answering any contractor questions <br />that may arise during construction. <br />o Primary liaison with Orange County personnel and contractor. <br />o Provide daily documentation of contractor operations. <br />o Verify material received reports. <br />o Verify contract quantities for payment. <br />o Review invoices and recommend payment to Orange County. <br />o Provide Orange County with all required documentation for project closeout. <br /> <br />Phase 3: Contract Administration and Inspection - Tasks <br /> <br /> Task 1 – Provide Contract Inspection Services <br /> Task 2 – Provide Contract Administration Services <br /> <br />Supplementary Support Services <br /> Drone Applications – It may be necessary to establish site parameters for Orange County <br />locations that are not consistent with the available GIS map layer (aerial imagery). <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 9B816979-FB46-4AAA-8D68-D2AAA2265966
