He said <br /> 37 he would have liked to have seen more applicants. <br /> 38 Commissioner Fowler asked how the task force was advertised. <br /> 39 Tara May said they advertised on listservs, county social media channels, and the <br /> 40 newspaper. She said she'd be happy to hear other ideas. <br /> 41 Commissioner Richards said she included it in a news sharing group she is part of. <br /> 42 Commissioner Hamilton said she knows there are a lot of organizations that she is part of <br /> 43 and she forgets to advertise something she has initiated. She asked that staff prompt the Board <br /> 44 to remind the community about these opportunities. <br /> 45 Tara May said she would work on that. <br /> 46 Vice Chair McKee asked if there was a list of churches in the county. He said by contacting <br /> 47 churches, information may be shared among their congregations. He said some churches may <br /> 48 not want to advertise, but some are more politically active. He said that he reached out to churches <br /> 49 for assistance with the COVID vaccine and there was a church that engaged immediately and <br /> 50 was happy to be involved in the initiative as a partner. He said this would be good for affordable <br /> 51 housing and other social services. <br />
