Minutes <br /> The Board will correct and/or approve the draft minutes for the October 3, 2022 BOCC Meeting <br /> as submitted by the Clerk to the Board. <br /> b. Refund for Overpayment of Excise Tax <br /> The Board will consider approval of a refund of overpayment of Excise Tax of$1,030 to the <br /> Love Law Firm. <br /> c. Fiscal Year 2022-23 Budget Amendment#3 <br /> The Board will consider approval of budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments <br /> for Fiscal Year 2022-23. <br /> d. North Carolina Governor's Hiqhway Safety Program —Orange County Sheriff's Office <br /> Traffic Safety Project and Approval of Budget Amendment#3-A <br /> The Board will consider: <br /> 1) Adopting a Resolution recognizing federal funding for traffic safety projects to the <br /> Sheriff's Office; <br /> 2) Authorizing the Chair to sign the Resolution; and <br /> 3) Approving Budget Amendment#3-A accepting the $25,000 from federal grant funds. <br /> e. Proposed Amendments — Commission for the Environment Board-Specific Policy and <br /> Procedures <br /> The Board will consider approving amendments to the Commission for the Environment board- <br /> specific Policy and Procedures document. <br /> f. Amendment to the Persimmon Hill Farm (Bennett/Pelissier) Conservation Easement <br /> The Board will consider a resolution approving an amendment to a conservation easement held <br /> by Orange County for property owned by Vann Bennett and Bernadette Pelissier (known as <br /> Persimmon Hill Farm). <br /> g. Resolution Re-Naming the Whitted Meetinq Room to the Donna S. Baker Meeting <br /> Room <br /> The Board will consider adopting a resolution re-naming the Whitted Meeting Room after Donna <br /> S. Baker, former Clerk to the Orange County Board of Commissioners. <br /> h. End Point Protection — Managed Detection Response CrowdStrike Contract <br /> The Board will consider approving and authorizing the Manager to sign a contract with CDW <br /> and CrowdStrike in the amount of $112,965 to monitor 1,500 devices, e.g., computers and <br /> servers, replacing the currently deployed Carbon Black endpoint protection with CrowdStrike <br /> end point protection and additionally adding a vendor initiated managed detection system. <br /> i. Approval of the Assistance Policy and the Procurement and Disbursement Policy for <br /> the 2022 North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) Urgent Repair Program <br /> U( RP22) <br /> The Board will consider authorizing the County Manager to sign the updated URP22 Assistance <br /> Policy, and the Procurement and Disbursement Policy (no revisions from previous approved <br /> Policy). <br />
