Specific tasks may include: <br />• Meet with County representatives and/or other team members as needed to <br />discuss the design concepts and coordinate the Firm’s work. <br />• Review existing plans and documentation to become familiar with original design <br />capabilities and configurations of various types of parking lots. <br />• Perform field investigations of the areas involved to gain a better understanding <br />of existing conditions. <br />• Provide feasibility analyses or studies. <br />• Provide construction documents, including drawings and specifications, suitable <br />for review, permit, and bid. <br />• Provide a timeline for the implementation and completion of each project. <br />• Provide construction cost estimates. <br />• Secure any required site plan approvals <br />• Attend required meetings for approvals with local authorities having jurisdiction <br />for a permit or board approvals when necessary. <br />• Provide assistance during bidding and permitting to answer questions and <br />provide plan revisions as required. <br />• The County will be responsible for the construction contract and bid <br />process. <br />• The Contractor will be responsible for all permit and inspection fees. <br />• Provide oversite of construction <br />• Provide shop drawing review and responses to RFIs. <br />• Provide close-out phase services, including, but not limited to, submission of <br />drawings, asbuilt drawings (in ACAD and PDF Formats), and other project- <br />related documents. <br /> <br />The County anticipates negotiating contracts with a 2-year term plus two optional one- <br />year renewal periods. No representation or guarantee is made regarding the quantity of work to be awarded under any as-needed service contract. <br /> <br /> <br />The selected firm will work with an Owner design committee which shall include but not <br />be limited to the Director of the Asset Management Services and the Capital Projects <br />Managers. The County Manager shall have final approval on all decisions relative to <br />these projects. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />III.
