34 <br /> 1 9. County Manager's Report <br /> 2 Bonnie Hammersley reviewed the information items for the Board's attention. She said <br /> 3 there have been more LHA applications this year than last year, and a higher rate are expected <br /> 4 during the last two weeks of November. <br /> 5 Commissioner Richards said she said she likes the formula of keeping the $100 minimum <br /> 6 and asked if that is sufficient. <br /> 7 Bonnie Hammersley said regardless of how many applicants there are everyone will get <br /> 8 something, with a minimum of$100. <br /> 9 Commissioner Bedford said it will take several years of the program to get the numbers <br /> 10 right, so this will be revisited during budget. <br /> 11 Bonnie Hammersley noted that this is Chair Price's last meeting as Chair and said it had <br /> 12 been an honor to work with her and she wished her well. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> 15 John Roberts said his staff have been working on some adjustments to the Code of <br /> 16 Ordinances. He said this will likely be brought to a first reading in January and he recommends a <br /> 17 second reading. He also congratulated Chair Price on winning her election for higher office. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 11. *Appointments <br /> 20 None. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 12. Information Items <br /> 23 • Memorandum - Financial Report- First Quarter FY 2022-23 <br /> 24 • Longtime Homeowner Assistance (LHA) Property Tax Program Prioritization <br /> 25 <br /> 26 13. Closed Session <br /> 27 None. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 14.
