She said that future rent covers up <br /> 5 to 3 months in the future. <br /> 6 Chair Price asked if the total average future rent payment is $1,953 per month or for three <br /> 7 months. <br /> 8 Corey Root said they are per month. <br /> 9 Commissioner McKee asked what timeline the average payment would cover. <br /> 10 Corey Root said this depends on how many months were needed in arrears. She said that <br /> 11 these are average payments. <br /> 12 Chair Price asked what the recipients were paying themselves. <br /> 13 Corey Root said the payments are not just for rent. <br /> 14 Chair Price said they could be for utilities. <br /> 15 Commissioner McKee asked the timeframe that would be covered with the average <br /> 16 payment. <br /> 17 Corey Root said that it would depend on the amount of arrears and how far back they are <br /> 18 paid. She said that everyone gets three months in the future, but some people have many months <br /> 19 of arrears. <br /> 20 Libbie Hough said payments can be as low at $186 and some people have $10,000 in <br /> 21 arrears. <br /> 22 Corey Root said they also pay arrears for people in subsidized housing, but they do not <br /> 23 pay future. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br />
